Acupuncture, Cupping & Tuina
Traditional Chinese acupuncture involves the use of extremely fine needles over acupuncture points to re-balance the flow of energy (Qi) through pathways in the body (meridians) to treat different health issues. Acupuncture is commonly used to treat pain, internal conditions, as well as facilitating the self-healing process of the body, by stimulating sensory nerves, muscles, and connective tissues. Alternatively, acupressure can be used to achieve similar effects by using fingers, instead of needles, to apply a force on the same points.
Cupping is a traditional technique in Chinese medicine that utilizes suction cups on the skin to improve blood flow, alleviate muscle tension, and encourage healing. In the present days, it is a technique used frequently by acupuncturists and other physical therapists for pain management.

Tuina (pronounced "twee-nah") is a traditional Chinese therapeutic massage that combines deep tissue techniques, acupressure, and stretching to restore balance and promote the body's natural healing. It works along the body's meridians and acupoints to improve circulation, relieve muscle tension, and enhance energy flow (Qi).
